当社の沿革および実績
In 1932, amidst the Great Depression, Guardian Glass Company boldly opened operations in Detroit, Michigan. They grew from an automotive windshield glass fabricator into Guardian Industries, a supplier to automobiles worldwide. After the Second World War, two new companies, Siegel-Robert Automotive and Automotive Molding Company (AMC) supplied manufacturers with plating and injection molding for exterior body components.
Siegel-Robert would come to pioneer chrome-plated plastics in the 1960s, as the operations of Guardian Industries expanded to include windshield fabricating, 10 automotive glass distribution centers, and a photofinishing division. These strong roots formed the next steps in Guardian Industries' automotive history.
