What is RSS?

Really Simple Syndication (RSS) is a format designed for sharing and distributing web content such as news headlines. An RSS feed highlights fresh material for you, so you don't have to repeatedly check a site yourself for updates. Using an RSS reader, you can view our news feed.

How do I use RSS?

To make use of RSS, you'll need an RSS reader, or "aggregator." An RSS reader can be a stand-alone application, or a plug-in for another program or site that you already use, such as Google, Yahoo, or MSN. Some web browsers, such as Firefox and Safari, have built-in RSS readers.  Lastly, many smartphones have RSS readers available in both free and commercial form.
